The evolution of a revolutionary tool
Improved balance and ergonomic design
Spring-loaded clasp holds models securely
First, there was the humble Citadel Painting Handle – this simple tool was a runaway hit, making it easy to paint your model and eat a bacon sandwich without ruining your finish. Then they got bigger, sprouted arms to aid assembly, and even turned red so you could spot special models when batch-painting. This updated Citadel Colour: Painting Handle is the biggest improvement on the revolutionary tool since its inception. Our design team has retained everything that made the original great, while evolving the design based on hard-won experience.
By removing much of the bulk in the spring-loaded upper clasp, it’s easier than ever to reach all around – and under – your models. The grip is more ergonomic, sitting comfortably in your palm for fatigue-free marathon painting sessions. The redesigned shape of the base improves the balance and distribution of weight, allowing us to make it even taller while reducing accidental knock-downs.
The painting handle holds 25mm, 28mm, 32mm and 40mm bases.
If you love using your painting handles, you’ll love these even more.
Ideal for filling in small gaps on miniatures, Liquid Green Stuff has been designed for hobbyists and enthusiasts who want a smooth, even finish when converting or modifying their models. Water soluble, with a striking label making it stand out from your Citadel paints, Liquid Green Stuff can be easily filed down with a Citadel File once set.
Contains 12ml of Liquid Green Stuff.
A larger version of the Citadel Colour Painting Handle
Balanced and ergonomic design takes the strain out of holding large models
Spring-loaded clip holds even heavy models securely
The Citadel Colour Painting Handle XL features a well-balanced, ergonomic base that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, allowing you to paint longer with less strain. The massive spring-loaded clip securely grips bases ranging from 50mm all the way up to 170mm oval bases – that’s the largest standard base you’ll find in the current range!
The Painting Handle XL has been expertly designed to work with a range of modular hobby tools to enhance your painting and modelling experience. The base slots securely into the Citadel Colour Assembly Stand to keep even the largest models secure while you work.
The flexible arms from the Assembly Stand also fit neatly into eight sockets located around the edges of the extra-large clip, allowing you to keep components in place while you build models. The same sockets are also sized to accommodate Sub-assembly Holders, so you can keep your colours consistent even when painting large, complicated projects.

Designed specifically for assembling plastic Citadel miniatures, Citadel Plastic Glue comes in a bottle with a handy applicator nozzle, making it as easy as possible to put your models together
Hobby knife with advanced safety features
Ergonomic, weighted handle for a sturdy feel
Allows maximum precision and control Every Warhammer hobbyist needs a hobby knife, so the Citadel Tools design team created one just for them. It features a fully sculpted hard plastic handle, and incorporates a number of clever features for safety and convenience:
– Fixed single slot blade barrel, ensuring perfect alignment
– Ribbed shroud behind the blade, allowing safer downward pressure and maximum precision
– Ergonomic handle to reduce hand fatigue, and prevent rolling on your desk
– Back-weighted design, so it’s less likely to fall with the blade down
– Blade changing thread recessed into the handle so the blade doesn’t loosen during use
– Blade cap
The Citadel Tools Knife also comes with a pack of six replacement blades in a container.
Cutters designed to remove plastic components from the frame
Ultra slim blades and a flush back help achieve close and controlled cuts
Long handles and rubberised ergonomic grip require less force and reduce fatigue
Modern Citadel plastic kits are packed with details, extras, and add-on bits, including some very small pieces. The Citadel Tools design team had these fine details in mind when they redesigned the beloved cutters used by so many Warhammer hobbyists. This new set of Super Fine Detail Cutters includes a number of improved features:
– Ultra thin blades (about three times smaller than the previous model) allow you to get into tight spaces with ease, increasing visibility and control
– Blades meet perfectly flush on the back, reducing the amount of additional cleanup needed and reducing the risk of pieces pinging away when used properly
– Bump-stopping design makes it impossible to mash the blades together with too much pressure, which means they’ll stay sharp for longer
– Rubberised contoured handles, including flares near the blades for added control, precision, and safety.
– Extended handles to reduce the pressure required to make a cut, reducing hand fatigue
Scraping tool designed to remove evidence of the casting process before you paint your models
Narrow nose and ergonomic handle allow for nimble work and reduced hand fatigue
Notch in the back of the blade makes it simple to smooth base rims for a clean finish
The incredibly popular mouldline remover has been redesigned by the Citadel Tools team to be more useful than ever. This version of the Mouldline Remover includes a number of improved features:
– Longer and thinner nose, roughly half the size of the previous version, reaches every nook and cranny while increasing visibility and precision
– Ergonomic handle is tapered in the front, allowing you to change to a pencil-like control grip for fine work, with a chunky base to allow greater comfort and reduce hand fatigue during normal use
– Notched back designed to clean up the tapered edges of your bases, making it quick and easy to get a paint-ready finish
Files are used to remove the small imperfections that may be created when you cut the model from it’s frame.
This set contains two files; one rough and one fine. Both are half round in shape and feature a fine point, enabling you to file down and polish your miniature to a perfect finish.
